With over 500, 000 average monthly page views and 3 million fans across social media, Asian Food Network (AFN) is one of the leading Asian recipe websites worldwide. I managed the sponsored marketing campaigns, oversaw the website SEO implementation and was in charge of the analytics in my previous full-time role there.
I started contributing to their expansive collection of articles and recipes when I transitioned to a digital nomad life, and have written several hundred listicles, explainer articles, episode descriptions and more in my long term relationship with the content team at Discovery Networks.
While the name might suggest solely Asian recipes, AFN goes beyond traditional Asian food – which already covers several dozen countries and cultures across the Asian continent. I’ve covered plant-based eats, ketogenic diet meal prep, restaurant reviews on top of writing about Chinese, Muslim, Indian, Korean, Japanese and many other Asian cuisines.
Here’s a slice across the varied, colorful and tantalizing articles I’ve written across the years.
I am very pleased with the high quality of her work and strong work ethnic. This makes her my top choice whenever we have writing assignments – it is not easy to find a writer like her.

On top of writing the articles and recipe descriptions, I work with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to upload all content and images, and take both articles and recipes live on asianfoodnetwork.com. All articles have crosslinks to other articles or recipes to encourage visitor retention and improve the authority of pages.
It’s been really rewarding when AFN fans recreate the dishes featured in their own kitchens and leave behind rave reviews. With 200k active users reading AFN recipes and articles every month, AFN remains one of the top recipe websites for Asian food culture.
