The Sweden-based Footway group is an online retailer with several brands under their belt. Their wide range of products cover apparels, outdoor gear and shoes from over 650 brand names, including well-loved brands like Nike, Salomons, Icebreaker, Ecco and more.
This project is one of several I have worked on for Footway across a year and a half, the results of which are prominently featured in the results when you do a quick Google search for their products.
With over 30,000 shoes alone and over 650 brand names, Footway needed several hundred SEO meta tags written for its more prominent brands, and product categories. They wanted descriptive, inspiring and non-salesy tags written for their e-commerce websites, with a minimum of 40 words and a maximum of 60.
Each meta tag was to be translated into 6 other European languages, and we had to make sure our primary English text was written in a universal manner for easy translation.

I wrote over 100 meta tags for Footway, which are now featured across their website and also on Google search snippets when the relevant brand name or product is searched. Each snippet is carefully crafted with their brief in mind, while giving the reader a peek into the apparel, sports or shoe brand story or product line.
